People Can Fly’s first-person shooter/kicker heading to mass production; out on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC February 22.
Last week, gamers got their first hands-on time with People Can Fly’s Bulletstorm with a demo on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. Now, Epic Games’ Polish studio has announced it has finished work on the title.
According to a tweet from Bulletstorm’s official Twitter account, the game has gone gold, three weeks ahead of its February 22 release date. The game will arrive on that day for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
There is still some uncertainty surrounding digital copies of Bulletstorm. Earlier this week, the Electronic Arts product disclosure page for Bulletstorm revealed that digital copies of the PC iteration of Bulletstorm would require a persistent Internet connection.
Bulletstorm’s lead producer Tanya Jessen told GameSpot that EA was working to clarify the issue, but no word has come from the publisher as of yet.
The Bulletstorm Epic Edition will bundle access to the Gears of War 3 multiplayer beta, which is pegged to kick off sometime this April. All preorders and most early copies of the game will be Epic Editions.
