Digital Leisure’s Move-enabled, live-action video Wild West shooter launching next Tuesday; developer claims it’s “completely redesigned” over Wii original.
Nintendo’s first virtual marketplace update of 2010 brought with it Digital Leisure’s Fast Draw Showdown, a Wild West shooter where players used the Wii Remote as a six-shooter. Now the game is taking aim at another motion-controlled destination: the PlayStation Move.
The Move-enabled Fast Draw Showdown will launch on the PlayStation Network on July 19 priced at $10. The full-motion game sports a number of improvements over the Wii iteration, including high definition graphics, online leaderboard support, a new scoring system, and Western clothing for PlayStation Home avatars.
Digital Leisure has a history with full-motion video games, having released titles like Mad Dog McCree and The Last Bounty Hunter on formats from the Wii to standard DVDs (where they could be played with a the unit’s remote control).
Fast Draw Showdown pits gamers against a variety of quick-draw specialists and also supports multiplayer face-offs in its Quickdrawn and Showdowngame modes. For more on the game, check out its trailer, embedded below.
