Get ready to feel the earth move as Deathwing returns to Azeroth
Stock up on canned food and fresh water, because the day of reckoning has finally arrived. Just over two years since the release of World of Warcrafts second retail expansion–World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King–fans can get ready to do it all over again having conquered the icy tundras of Northrend and toppled the inhabitants of Icecrown Citadel.
Things are thawing out for the third expansion, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, because one of the universe’s nastiest foes–Deathwing the Destroyer (one of five elemental aspects and leader of the Black Dragonflight)–returns cranky after a nap under the earth. His emergence marks a drastic change to the physical world of Azeroth, turning once-bone-dry zones into lush, verdant environments, while previously grassy plains have become scorching molten pits.
The biggest new features in the box include raising the player level cap from 80 to 85, a complete overhaul of the talent system, a new secondary profession in archaeology, and, of course, new dungeons and raids to complete. World of Warcraft: Cataclysm goes on sale tomorrow.
