Just hours after Microsoft announced 2.5 million sales of Kinect, rival Sony has announced 4.1 million sales of PlayStation Move.
Move’s done the business in the two months since its September release.
The 4.1 million number is accurate as of November 2010 and reflects global sales, Sony said. It does not include sales of the stand-alone PlayStation Eye camera or the stand-alone PlayStation Move navigation controller. The Eye is required to use Move.

Three downloadable Mix Packs revealed.
Activision’s detailed three new downloadable mix packs for DJ Hero 2, one of which is out now.
The Hard Edge Mix Pack includes Pixies’ “Debaser” mixed with The Prodigy’s “Invaders Must Die”, and Beastie Boys’ “Body Movin'” mixed with Lenny Kravitz’ “Rock And Roll Is Dead”. That’s out today.
On 14th December the Old Skool Mix Pack will release. It includes Fat Boys’ “Human Beat Box” mixed with Mantronix’ “King of the Beats”, Tag Team’s “Whoomp! (There It Is)” mixed with 45 King’s “The 900 Number”, and Beastie Boys’ “Triple Trouble” mixed with Tone-Lōc’s “Funky Cold Medina”.

Polish developer CD Projekt has clarified its claim that PC exclusive role-playing game The Witcher 2 has 16 endings.
When CD Projekt says ending, it means “state of the world”, junior designer Jan Bartkowicz told Eurogamer.
“What is an ending?” he said. “In some games the ending is the final cut-scene, the summary. In The Witcher 2, political things are more important than they were in the first one. It’s still action-packed and there is the story of Geralt, but it’s a broader game. We go to a lot of different places. We see kingdoms clashing. It’s more epic in scale.

GamersFirst COO explains the new approach to customisation for the MMOG.Bjorn Book-Larsson, COO and CTO of free-to-play company GamersFirst, has revealed details of the new structure for APB: Reloaded.
GamersFirst bought the IP rights to APB last month, following the closure of its UK-based developer Realtime Worlds in September.

SBK 2011 is due out for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in May 2011.
Developer Milestone Studios promises huge improvements to graphics and gameplay. 2011 will feature a brand new artistic direction, an “up-to-date” driving model and “more appealing” presentation and side effects.

US Black Friday shoppers help boost Microsoft’s worldwide hardware sales.Microsoft has announced that sales of its Kinect sensor reached 2.5 million worldwide following the Black Friday weekend in the US, which is traditionally one of the busiest shopping periods of the year.

Country’s first quadruple platinum Wii game.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii is Nintendo’s motion-sensing console’s first quadruple platinum selling game in Japan, fresh sales data has revealed.
When it crossed the four million copies sold barrier in Japan this week it became the first Wii game to do so. Enterbrain’s latest sales results put the game at 4,001,276 units as of Sunday (revealed by Andriasang).
New Super Mario Bros. Wii became the Wii’s best-selling game in March when it neared the 3.5 million mark. Is there no end to the portly plumber’s popularity?
