“Save often.”
Bethesda Softworks has told Xbox 360 owners to save often while playing stonking great open world RPG Fallout: New Vegas as it works to fix a bug that prevents gamers from loading save files.
“We are absolutely looking into this bug now, along with other reports of save game corruption,” senior producer Jason Bergman wrote on the official Bethesda forum.
“It is our highest priority right now that we find out what is causing it. In the meantime, we recommend you save often, and revert to an older save if this occurs.”

Assassins Creed will “definitely” feature co-op in the future. Still plenty of time to find an accomplice, though (Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood)
Oct 22, 2010The traditional image of an assassin is that of a quiet loner, living a life of self-imposed solitude, working alone and in complete secrecy. There is a chance that you might form an at-times awkward relationship with a 12 year-old girl, but – generally – if you’re in the assassinating business you keep your shit close to your chest and keep other people out. But do away with that preconception because a future Assassin’s Creed will embrace the idea of cooperative killing. …

Publisher delivering voice-controlled animal-training game to Xbox 360 in March 2011.
When Kinect launches for the Xbox 360 on November 4, gamers will be able to put the camera-based motion-sensing controller through its paces in 12 games, with five more confirmed to arrive before the year is out. While THQ isn’t represented among those launch titles, the publisher isn’t neglecting Kinect, announcing today that it will bring Fantastic Pets to the Xbox 360 in March 2011.
Described as Kinect’s “first augmented reality game,” Fantastic Pets initially presents players with four prosaic animals: a dog, cat, horse, and lizard. However, throughout the course of gameplay, these animals transform into mythological creatures, ranging from unicorns to dragons.
Fantastic Pets plays on Kinect’s voice-recognition technology, as gamers are able to command their pets in minigames and talent shows through audible cues. Players will also be able to photograph themselves with their pets as they attempt to achieve the rank of a professional pet trainer.
Blitz Games Studios has been tasked with creating Fantastic Pets. Blitz Games is perhaps most noted for its work on the Burger King adver-games Sneak King and Big Bumpin’. The British studio has also handled development on other license properties, including The Biggest Loser, as well as Konami’s Karaoke Revolution.
