Former creative designer Kazuma Kujo’s company also working on PS3 and PS Vita titles.
Early this year, the creative designer behind the Disaster Report and Steambot Chronicles titles, Kazuma Kujo, left developer and publisher Irem to open up a new company called Granzella. According to a recent article on Famitsu (translated by Siliconera), the company is planning on making games for the PlayStation brand; specifically for PlayStation Home, PS3, and PlayStation Vita, Sony’s newly-titled handheld console.
According to a recent post on Granzella’s development blog, the company hinted that there would be two bullet points listed as “PlayStation Home Lounge A ad Related Items” and “PlayStation Home Lounge B and Related Items”. Kujo said that the upcoming digital titles for PlayStation Home will stand up well against full package games. Additionally, the company plans on releasing a new downloadable title for PlayStation 3. He also plans to expand the company’s repertoire with Android and PlayStation Vita titles for next year.
When asked about future involvement with Irem sequels, Kujo said that he could not comment at this point in time. Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories, one of the games Kujo headed as creative designer at Irem, was canceled last March, possibly due to the game’s subject matter regarding a city wrecked by an earthquake.
