Brink shop adds new positions to its career page bringing total vacancies to 14; no word on what developer is working on.
THQ’s near-future shooter Homefront launched in March to mixed reviews. And just this, week its publisher shuttered the New York City shop behind it, Kaos. Class-based sci-fi shooter Brink was released in May and also received scattered reviews, but that has not hurt the developer, as it is staffing up for a new game.
The London, England-based developer today posted new career positions on its website, bringing the total number of vacancies to 14. These career listings include calls for a Lead VFX artist, a Lead Online Services programmer, one producer, and others.
Unfortunately, the career listings do not shed light on whether or not the studio is staffing up for a sequel to Brink or something entirely new.
As of press time, Splash Damage has not responded to GameSpot’s request for comment or clarification on the matter.
In addition to Brink, Splash Damage has worked on Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Doom III, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. For more on Splash Damage’s most recent title, check out GameSpot’s review of Brink.
